Sounds good!

'nother good one! Dimrain won't respond to my incredibly large review, though, so I will not say go Dimrain <_<

I like it.

It's nicely done. Don't feel like doing a breakdown of the whole song, but it's not only well done, but the tune ain't bad, neither! A good song to remix, even if I've never heard the original before :)

CyrusOfNaias responds:

Well to hear the original you can go to the Shin'en Productions site for it here

http://www.shinen.com/music/music.php 3?gax

And get a short clip of it by clicking on "Iridion Level 3"
Hope that helps~

Warning: helpful review ahead.

Yes, I have decided to make you an analysis review! Wish Dimrain would at least say thanks for mine a while back, but oh well :(

Intro (0:01-0:30) - This begins with a very epic intro crash, but then it cuts to a slowed down piano bit until 0:15. It was unexpected to be sure, but it fits the song well. Very originally done up to 0:15. After that point you start getting the techno elements added in, and from there it really starts to build up and helps you know something is coming. Well done, perfect intro; 3/3

Pre-Body (0:30-0:42) - This section establishes the main beat of the song, and a very catchy one at that. This is really a "like or dislike" section, not much can be done wrong here, so 1/1.

Body (0:43~1:35) - This bit here goes from awesome synth melody in the beginning to a bit of a layed back feel. No real advice, it's pretty generic, though, so perhaps something to break up the monotony next time. 1.5/2.

Post-Body (1:36-2:27) - This is the part where the return to the original theme really picks up, despite it beginning at around 1:30. This is a key element to most electronic music, I find, and indeed most music in general, but it is most prominent in elctronic varieties. It's well done, mimicking the original buildup without copying (or if it did, I cannot tell). 1/1.

End (2:27-2:35) - The ending is short and does the job of succinctly wraping up the song. Not much to say here, it does its job well. 2/2.

The "Do I like it" (0:00-2:35) - I do indeed. This nets you your final point. 1/1.

9.5 out of 10! An impressive score, but the middle really could be a bit less monotonous. It's very chilled, and it's hard to make chilled things not repeat, but it really helps dramatically with the relisten value of the song. Rounded up to 5 for the actual vote, and DL'd.

Thank you! Its actually nice to have someone review my song who would take the time for a review a long as this!

Its really cool to see what people think and this is awesome! Ya i agree the middle could have been better but i got lazy =P...

This is a really cool analysis of my song, it seems that i have made the majority of it a "Like or Dislike" which is awesome. Thanks for writing down what you truly think!

Thanks again for the review!!! (Lets all shoot Dimrain for not responding to his reviews enough lol)

Pretty good.

It's got intensity, a fast enough pace, but just chill so that you don't quite feel like getting up and dancing to it (e.g. the "headbob zone". Too much motion to sit still, too little to dance around like a lunatic).

The guitar in the first 45 seconds seems a bit overpowering and obnoxious, though, I'd tone that down or bring the volume on the other stuff up, and then after 45 seconds leave it all alone.

Wonderfully done

But I need to see this in a full piece, and perhaps speed it up a tiny little bit. It's halfway between chill and frantic, and I'd rather get a little more motion into it. Then again, that's just me. If you want to take it chill, that's on you.

Subsonic sounds?

I wasn't aware there were such things o.0

Subaudible, perhaps...

Anyway, it's pretty good. Trying to give it a creepy feel using sounds you can't even hear was a nice try, but my hearing is exceptionally good, and I rather picked up on them :(

... or at least the crazy vibration it was making. Nice effort, though, 8/10.

Rig responds:

I didn't try to make them inaudibly low - just low enough to rumble you up. I can hear them too :)
Thanks for the review!

Teh Review :O

Yeah, couldn't think of a good title. This song is incredibly relaxing. Bah, I'm at a loss for big reviews now. I'm just gonna say gj, dl it, and move on.

Nothin' much to say

It's really just kinda *schooom* and it sounds good. Not much to dissect here, just plain good work, simple as that.

F-777 responds:

Thanks man =D

Well done!

I'm rather exhausted from my extensive review of Dimrain47's new song "Cerebral Infection" I wrote in the last day or two (mentally, not physically, that thing is practically a page long, though!) so I'll keep this brief.

It's well done, but as said, not so original. Get it some new sounds, some new beats, et c. I like that crazy drum-ish plastic sound in there around 2:05, though. Go somewhere with that ;p

This song...

...is amazing. I generally don't like people that do that, what with the elipsis leading from the review title into the review itself, but it really rather dumbstruck me with being so damn awesome.

Anyway, on to the review, this song is rather long, so I'd rather just review it bit by bit while listening to it once :)

Intro (0:01 to ~ 0:30):

Very well done, this SERIOUSLY snagged me into the song. It's got the super bouncie bass to melody intro (what begins sounding kind of like a bass turns out to be the real rhythm/melody to the song) with those crazy sound FX in there, makes it sound pretty awesome. One of the better intros I've ever heard. 3/3 for intro.

First Body (0:30 - 1:47):

This junk is so big, I need two body sections because you split the body of the song in HALF! This is perhaps the worst section of the song, mainly because it gets really repetetive at times. A bit more variation here would do. 2/3.

Second Body (1:48 - 2:40):

After the song's second pause it starts going all acid on me, and I like it. By this point I've had about ten seconds too much of that damn starting theme, and I needed a breakdown back to basics with some distortion in it to make the song fresh again. This timing is about perfect, maybe move it up around five seconds or so. The song really slows down towards the middle of this section. It almost starts to sound arabian, possibly saharan, with the speed of the music and notes, but then this segment ends. Very well done. 3/3.

Finale (2:40 - End):

This part of the song pulls a traditional Dimrain, and merges body 1 and body 2 together to form some sick twisted kind of body 3, that is in fact the end of the song. I like how it got sped up and yet it still felt all slow and distorted out at the same time. Really gave it a unique flavor, and you could tell the end was coming, which is always a plus. The end itself is roughly two seconds long, and is a very good way to end the song, that little crunch of notes at the end. Not quite sure what to call it, but good job with that cut off, it sounds perfect. 3/3.

Now, needless to say, I've gone far over 10 with this score, in fact it has hit 11/12 by now. However, I'm not stopping there, I am rating its creativity and trueness to genre out of eight! Yes, eight!

Trueness to D&B -

It's missing a bit of the bass I expected, but the distorted bubble bass going on in the second half of the song kind of takes care of that. I suppose this is a 3/4, it needs a bit more bass, but it sounds fine as it is.

Creativity/style -

Well, this is my "do I like it or not" area, and damn do I like it. Well done. 4/4.

This nets you a total score of 18/20, or 9/10 for this D&B song. I will, of course, round up to 5/5 for my rating score.

To answer your question, you should cut a piece of the middle out and expand it a bit in other places, but that is just my opinion. I may not know music, but I do know what I like, and I think that would rock out loud.
